We are planning litter with female Olivia Onyx van Vlerckensteyn, whom we lately bought from another kennel. For the planned litters father we have selected a Finnish male Joulumaan Valkee Peera. Peera is a male we have looked already for longer time but so long have not had a right female for him. But as we bought Onyx in our kennel, actually specifically for our BTWW General, we found out that since Generals and Peeras characteristics are quite similar this female would be also suitable for Peera. So after thinking a while we decided that we need first and foremost new blood in our kennel and everything else can wait. So we decided first to mate her with Peera. Peera has passed Finnish Character test with result LTE+188 where he got from strength of character +3 (white shepherds usually get +1 and less) and will to protect also +3. Peeras mother Arja got from Finnish character test result LTE+210. We have one of Arjas and BTWW Angels offspring over here in Estonia and I really like her. So I believe into this combination as Onyx is an excellent prey drive female and combined with Peeras stability and strong character the puppies should have quite good working character potential. From this litter first male and first female pick will stay in our kennel, most probably with co-operation of our friend kennels.
